Tracy Konadu Poku, Coordinator STAR Mentoring Program

Tracy Konadu Poku volunteers as the Coordinator for the STAR Mentoring Program where she was instrumental in recruiting and communicating with our first cohort of mentees for our beneficiaries. This included 10 professional and amazing mentors who were subsequently matched to all the mentees on the program. She also facilitated the smooth operation of the entire mentoring program, including the orientation of Mentors, launch and progress of the program.

Tracy is also a recent graduate of Ashesi University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems. At Ashesi, she was the President of She’s The First, Ashesi Chapter, a non-profit organization, headquartered in New York City that fights gender inequality through education and believes in “a world where every girl chooses her own future.” As President and a member of the Ashesi Chapter, she was responsible for overseeing the planning of all fundraising, mentoring, outreach and conference programs for the club. She was also part of the organization team that executed the first leadership women’s conference in Ashesi. The club also organized two ‘Pancake for Change’ fundraisers where all proceeds went towards supporting a girl’s education.

Currently, Tracy also works with Pinnacle Heights Academy as the Social Learning Coordinator. The mission of this program is to educate the next generation of global citizens who are ready to tackle the world’s problems by looking at these problems from multiple viewpoints and to nurture in the students the principles of equity, access, participation and rights.
