Mrs Jacqui Oyimer, Founder and Executive Director
Mrs Jacqui Oyimer is the founder and Executive Director of STAR Women, a non-profit organization in Ghana working to provide skills training, resources, mentorship, and networks for underprivileged and marginalized women and girls to discover and maximize the best versions of themselves.
In addition to her role at STAR Women, she serves as a Community Relations Specialist at International Justice Mission (IJM) where she plays key advocacy and partnership development roles at national and community levels in the fight against human trafficking in Ghana.
Jacqui is a devout Christian woman of exemplary leadership on both local and global fronts. She was a fellow of the Global Emerging Leaders Program run by Temple Advisory and the Grace Foundation. She is an alum of both The Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Regional Leadership Center and The Ghanaian Women Social Leadership Program at Wagner School of Public Service of New York University. She is also a Commonwealth Corps Alumni for the Massachusetts Service Alliance where she served as Program Development Coordinator for the African Community Education Program.
Jacqui is driven by her vision of raising more women and young leaders who will contribute their quota towards the Africa rising agenda. She worked as a Guidance Counsellor and Head of Entrepreneurial Leadership Department at Alpha Beta Christian College. She was the 1st Vice President of the West African Network of Young Women Leaders (ROAJELF) and served as the Chairperson for the Education, Training and Capacity Building Committee of the Network. She is also the former President of the national chapter of the network, ROAJELF Ghana.
Jacqui supports her husband to pastor a wonderful, vibrant and spirit filled church, the Covenant House of Faith Ministry, where they are on a mission to raise a generation that seeks the heart of God and also make them ready for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. She is passionate about empowering and mentoring young women and girls to fulfill purpose with grit and grace to the glory of God.
