Syndy is an accomplished finance and operations executive demonstrated through sound and solid technical and strategic leadership over the past 24years in the development and humanitarian sector. Syndy is currently the Deputy Director of United Nations Relief Works Agency affairs (Operations) in the West Bank. She previously served in several roles in CARE International Non-Governmental Organization, her most recent as Finance Director and Operations Manager. Syndy has served in multiple roles in development and humanitarian setting managing, coordinating and providing technical support to various teams, in several countries in West Africa, East Africa, Far East Asia and the Middle East. he has a wide range of experience in overseeing and managing various operational functions, including finance, human resources, procurement, logistics, administration, and information technology Ms. Nkrumah holds an Executive Master in Business Administration (Finance Option) and a Bachelor's degree in Education for Social Sciences (Accounting).
Syndy developed a strong sense of mentoring and coaching other women to succeed professionally as she navigated the complex structures in the workplace to progress in her career. She is a strong advocate for vulnerable groups, especially women and girls to remove barriers and social norms that hinders equity and justice for women to succeed. Syndy is a mother of three children, a lover of God and a homemaker.

Pastor Stephen Tetteh Oyimer is a seasoned preacher and a teacher of the word of God. He is a good shepherd who carries a divine mandate of preparing men, women, young and old for the second coming of Jesus Christ. He has the passion of challenging young men and women to reach their full potential and live out their God given assignment.
He is not just a pastor but a mentor to many and father of all.
Out of obedience to a divine instruction, He led the curation of the Thirsty Holy Ghost Campaign to draw men onto God and ignite an intense burning for a closer walk with the Holy Spirit through intimate fellowship. He leads this assignment by being exemplary through his spirit-centered lifestyle.
This wonderful man who is a product of university of education at Central University doubles up as the Grants and Budgets Manager for CARE International.
He is the Head Pastor of Covenant House of Faith Ministry and married to an amazing woman of God, Mrs Jacqueline Oyimer.

Leonard Kobina Ackon is Pastor and Development Communications Practioner. He is a trained journalist with over 12 years of professional experience working in the fields of justice advocacy, ecumenism, journalism, and public policy in different capacities.
Leo has over the years engaged diverse groups of individuals on a wide-range of justice and public policy issues such as interfaith relations, child trafficking/forced child labour, Economic Partnership Agreement (EPAs), food security, climate change, among many others.
Over the last 6-years, Leo worked as the Director of Advocacy and Partnerships for International Justice Mission (IJM). At IJM, he led the team to engage government, churches, political leaders, development partners and communities to undertake actions at ending child trafficking in Ghana. Prior to working for IJM, he worked for the Christian Council of Ghana (CCG) as the Public Relations and Media Coordinator. At the Christian CCG, he worked directly with churches, state actors, development partners and religious groups.
Leo is an ordained Pastor and used to be an associate Pastor at Salem International Christian Centre in Ghana before relocating to the United States of America to study at Fuller Theological Seminary. He loves soccer and supports Chelsea Football Club. Leo is married to Priscilla Ackon and they are blessed with 4 children – Ayeyi, Perez, Diakios and Joy.

Yaa Gyamfuah currently serves as the Senior Manager for Programs at IJM Ghana. She holds an M.A. in International Development from the University of Denver, Colorado. Before taking this current position, she served as the Community Relations Coordinator for the Advocacy & Partnerships team. Prior to IJM, Yaa worked with refugee resettlement organizations in Iowa and Denver in the United States and in the healthcare sector in Ghana. Yaa loves swimming and watching Korean shows whenever possible!

Chantal Kassa is a skilled Education Specialist with over 15 years teaching and program development experience in public and private schools, community college and non-profit educational organizations. She has a passion for education and its transformative potential for the world. Her mission is to spark collaboration between communities and key stakeholders to develop and sustain community driven programs and policies that enhance the well-being of school-age children and families vulnerable to education. She has collaborated with diverse teams in the U.S. and in Africa, to create new programs, power community resources, and implement federally and privately funded programs. Her insatiable passion for the life-changing power of education drives her work and commitment to help equip young people with 21st century skills by leveraging technology for education and workforce development. She holds a B.Sc. in Science, MA. in International Development and Social Change, and MS. in Information Technology. She is proficient in English and French. As an educator, she enjoys mentoring young people and believes that each interaction provides a learning opportunity for both student(s) and self.

Michael is a senior international development professional with 16 over years’ experience in youth programming. His work has encompassed gender and human rights based approaches, youth civic engagement, volunteering, education, economic and education policy, migration/immigration, employment/workforce development, social innovation, monitoring and evaluation, and organizational development.
Michael has served as Assistant Professor, Childhood and Youth Studies at the Open University, Guest Lecturer & Trainer at the International Training Centre/International Labor Organization (ITC-ILO), Senior Youth Policy and Innovation Specialist at the Commonwealth Secretariat, Migration and Development Specialist at UNDP, Adolescent and Youth Migration Specialist at the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA), Policy Researcher at UNICEF, and Executive Director at Young People We Care (YPWC).

Jacqui Oyimer is the Founder and Executive Director of STAR Women, with over a decade of experience in the development sector. Her work is centered on empowering women and girls, youth engagement, education, leadership development, advocacy, and forging strategic partnerships to combat human trafficking.
Jacqui’s leadership journey began during her university years, where she served as the Women’s Commissioner of the Student Representative Council at the University of Professional Studies, Accra. Her passion for advocacy led her to play a key role in establishing the West African Network of Young Women Leaders, where she served as the network’s first Regional Vice President and Chair of the Education, Training, and Capacity Building Committee. She later founded and led the Ghana national chapter.
She began her professional career at Care International, before leaving to pursue a Master’s in International Development and Social Change at Clark University in Massachusetts.
While in Massachusetts, Jacqui served as a Commonwealth Corps Member with the Massachusetts Service Alliance, working as the Programs Development Coordinator at the African Community Education Program. There, she supported African refugee and immigrant youth in achieving educational and social stability.
Upon returning to Ghana, she became Head of the Guidance and Counseling Department at Alpha Beta Education Centres, while also leading the Leadership Program Department. In this role, she taught, developed curricula, and facilitated professional development for staff—helping to shape the next generation of leaders.
Jacqui later served as Senior Associate for Community and Government Relations at International Justice Mission (IJM), a global organization dedicated to protecting people in poverty from violence, including modern slavery. At IJM, she led advocacy initiatives, engaging members of Parliament, government agencies, and civil society leaders to advance meaningful change—especially in the area of human trafficking. She is an alumna of several prestigious fellowships, including the Global Emerging Leaders Program, the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), and the Ghanaian Women Social Leadership Program at NYU Wagner School of Public Service.

Abigail Mensah Taylor holds a BSc. in Administration, Human Resource Management from
Central University, Accra, Ghana. She is an alumni of the She-Attitudes Leadership Initiative.
(SALI). She has also completed Digital Launchpad for SMEs Training with Africa 118 Information Service Solution and NORAD initiative, and participated in the Forward Program with McKinsey & Company. Abigail also trained on the Social Enterprise Women Business Accelerator Program, MILEAD Leadership Training and Start Right Ultra Leadership Development Training. With all these training, she has developed her capacity to lead transformational impact programs with confidence and experience.
She is currently the Administrative Lead at STAR Women where she volunteers fulltime to support the day to day activities and operations of the organization. She oversees the programs development, implementation and improvement of all offerings. She also serves as the Executive Assistant to the Founder of STAR Women and supports the Board with any secretarial duties.
She worked with a startup nursery school, Radison Early Childhood Centre as the Centre Manager. She has served as National Service personnel at the World Vision International, Ghana as People and Culture Assistant. She worked as a Project Assistant with the West African Network of Young Women Leaders (ROAJELF Ghana). She also worked as the Research Coordinator for Ghana for Partners West Africa, Senegal.
